Hyslop Pledges Carers Support
Local Constituency MSP Fiona Hyslop has pledged her continuing support for Carers and Young Carers in West Lothian.
Fiona commented;
“I am always happy to support and promote the work and voices of our carers and young carers in West Lothian and look forward to seeing them and engaging with them about the challenges they face and what can be done as a community to support them.
“Carer’s Week (11th – 17th June) gives the opportunity to highlight the important difference our carers and young carers do and to give them the recognition they deserve for their dedicated and compassionate work.”

As part of Carers Week (11th – 17th June) Fiona has pledged the following to mark their campaign:
“I pledge to continue to work to promote the role, voice and work of West Lothian Carers and the Young Carers in West Lothian, to find out how we can work together to support the health and wellbeing of carers in my constituency and to find out more about the challenges they face each day.
“I pledge to encourage organisations, services and employers in my constituency to work together to support carers’ health and wellbeing.
“I pledge to help and support all carers in my constituency to be best of my ability in my role as their local MSP.
