Hyslop Congratulates Broxburn STEM Group UK Champions Local MSP, Fiona Hyslop has written to congratulate a group of Broxburn Acadmey pupils who have been officially recognised the Most Dedicated Science Club in the UK after winning the most recent STEM Challenge 9. Hyslop Welcomes Springfield Primary to Parliament SNP MSP for Linlithgow Constituency, Fiona Hyslop met with the staff and pupils from Springfield Primary on Tuesday when they visited the Scottish Parliament as part of the Holyrood Outreach Programme. Fiona said; “I always enjoy meeting pupils form the local schools when they visit Parliament. “Regardless of age, pupils from West Lothian are always keen to ask questions and learn more about the Scottish Parliament and the role politics plays in everyday life. “I am pleased to spend time responding to their questions and share views on local and national issues that are important to them.”

Hyslop Welcomes Armadale Community Council to Parliament Fiona invited a group from Armadale Community Council to the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh last Thursday after she spoke at one of their monthly meetings earlier in the year. Tea with Your MSP raises £60 for MacMillan Cancer Support SNP MSP for Linlithgow, Fiona Hyslop has raised £60 in just under two hours for MacMillan’s Cancer Support earlier this week. Ms Hyslop’s coffee morning which begun at 10am on Monday, 5th November in Whitburn Burgh Halls, attracted members of the Whitburn and wider West Lothian Community who helped fundraise for MacMillan Cancer Support. West Lothian MSPs Call on Vion To Live Up To Their Responsibilities West Lothian MSPs Fiona Hyslop and Angela Constance are calling on Vion to live up to their responsibilities by making a substantial financial contribution to the recovery of the Broxburn area and the wider West Lothian economy. Hyslop "Wears it Pink" in Torphichen Local MSP, Fiona Hyslop is joining forces with Breast Cancer Campaign to raise awareness of its biggest fundraising event, wear it pink day. Fiona attended Torphichen’s annual Pink Coffee Morning on October 6th at St John’s Hall. Last year hundreds of thousands of people took part in wear it pink to help improve survival rates for the one in eight women who experience breast cancer during their lifetime. Commenting, Fiona Hyslop said: “Every year in the UK, around 48,000 new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in women.
