Fiona Highlights Cultural and Economic Benefits of Linlithgow Palace Event
During a debate in the Scottish Parliament on Tuesday (21st April) on Culture, Visitor Attractions and Events, local constituency MSP Fiona Hyslop highlighted the cultural and economic benefits of the hugely popular Party at the Palace Event, scheduled for the 8th and 9th of August.
Speaking as the Cabinet Secretary for Culture, Fiona said;
“Festivals, and music festivals in particular, have played a crucial role in Scotland’s cultural calendar for a number of years. This August, Party at the Palace is back at the stunning Linlithgow Palace.
“Music events such as Party at the Palace are a hugely important aspect of our culture that celebrates and showcases our culture and creativity and also provide a great boost to the local and Scottish economy.”
